Building BobSmithPhotography.net has stopped expanding because I've been overwhelmed with spam on the comment forums. Ok, turns out Bob has been photographing since 1985, so the copyright date needs to change from 2006 to 1985-2006. But while we're at it, I'm going to show you a little trick that was posted on ProPhotoForum to always print the current year.

Find this line in footer.php

© 2006 Bob Smith


And we're going to change it to

&copy; 1985-<?php echo date("Y"); ?> Bob Smith

So, now when 2007 rolls around it will be taken care of.  Bob's not going to have to remember to go back and fix the date.  Plus, Bob being the prolific writer that he is has already put up 50 pages, but you only have to make the change once
