This site is an extension of a tutorial that I started over at ProPhotoForum.com to go through the steps of building a web site for a fictional photographer in Cleveland. The tutorial is intended to allow a new web builder to follow along the steps required to build a site from scratch.  Sure, there are thousands of sites that will tell you how to build a site, but here I'm trying to put it together so somebody can start with no knowledge other than wanting a web site.  And while the tutorial is aimed at photographers building their own sites, it can be beneficial to anyone new to web development.

This site originally started as what has become the Tutorial section.  As it's grown the site has expanded into an Other Tips section as well as a Glossary.  Recently I've added a Tools section where you can view a spider's eye view of your page as well as the server headers your page is returning.

If you have any questions as your are reading through this site, there are comment forms on most of the pages.  Feel free to ask questions.  One thing to keep in mind though is that the comments are moderated before they show up on the site.  So you will not see it immediately.  Don't worry, it's there.  And it will show up as long as it's not spammy.
